My Story…
John was born and raised in Red Deer and has a strong passion for everything Central Alberta including the arts, culture and economy. Having sat on various boards including the Red Deer College’s “Affairs of the Arts”, Red Deer & District Community Foundation and the 2019 Canada Winter Games Investment and Finance committee, he has a deep appreciation for non-profit fund development. “I feel the 2019 Canada Winter Games has the ability to add a significant long term legacy to Central Alberta, and I am very proud to be a part of it”. Is married to his wife Melissa for 5 years and they have two daughters, Nikola (3) and Chloe (1).
