Our story…
I am one lucky girl. Diagnosed with stage II ovarian cancer in 1999. My chances of living 5 years was 70%. But the majority of women are diagnosed in stages III and IV when the chance of surviving is very low. Since I'm still here, I've made it my life's mission to raise awareness of ovarian cancer symptoms (bloating, abdominal pain, getting full when eating a meal, urinary urgency or frequency - any one of those that doesn't go away or you have for more than 2 weeks in any month should be reported to a doctor!) And I live to serve women who have ovairan cancer through the support programs of the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (www.Colo-OvarianCancer.org). YOUR donation makes our programs possible.
