MERMAID DASH - 1.5 miles
The Mermaid Dash is a great way to introduce girls to the world of running. The fun run/walk allows girls to participate and experience the joy of crossing the finish line in a safe and supportive environment. Mermaid Dashers receive a medal, finisher necklace and post race food.

Parents are encouraged to let Mermaid Dashers run on their own, however a parent or guardian is welcome to run alongside young or shy Mermaid Dashers.

Entry Fee: $15.00* (online)
Race Day: $20.00* (race day - Cash or Check only)
*Entry fee does NOT include a t-shirt.

CREDIT POLICY
Can't attend one of our events?
We will be happy to issue you a credit toward a future Mermaid Series event. To receive a credit, you must email us at info@mermaidseries.coma minimum of 10 days before the event date. We will email you back a confirmation along with the total amount of your future race credit. Please keep the confirmation email for your records. Credits are good through the following calendar year. Credits are nontransferable.

The following credits will be issued:
• Duathlon - Entry fee minus $10 processing fee
• Triathlons - Entry fee minus $10 processing fee
• Run - Entry fee minus $10 processing fee.

DIRECTIONS
The Start, Finish and Expo are located inside the Presidio with the start being on Old Mason Street and the Finish / Expo area in the East Beach Parking Lot

PARKING
Parking in San Francisco is always a challenge. We recommend you arrive a minimum of 60 minutes prior to your race start to allow for extra time to park. There is limited parking at the East Beach Parking Lot next to the Finish Line. The East Beach parking lot is first come, first served and will CLOSE at 6:30am. Additional FREE parking is located at the Little Marina Green, Marina Green and behind the Palace of Fine Arts. The closest lots are Little Marina Green and the Pay Parking in the Presidio. NOTE: The Free Lots will fill up fast, we recommend using the pay parking lots in the Presidio.

Pay ($) Parking - Presidio:
There are several parking lots within the Presidio that are less than 1 mile walk to the East Beach Parking Lot. To enter the Presidio from Marina Blvd head west toward the Golden Gate Bridge and follow Marina Blvd into the Presidio. Go underneath the Golden Gate Bridge approach, DO NOT get onto the Golden Gate Bridge. You can also enter the Presidio via the Lombard Gate. Parking is $1.50 per hour or $8 for all day. Pay kiosks accept credit cards.

Free Parking - Little Marina Green & Palace of Fine Arts & the Marina Green
- Little Marina Green: Has approximately 75 spots.
- Marina Green: Has approximately 450 spots and is about a .9 mile walk to the East Beach Parking Lot.
- Palace of Fine Arts: Behind the Palace of Fine Arts on Lyon Street there are approximately 200 spots. It is roughly a .75 mile walk to the East Beach Parking Lot.
