My Story…
Hey friends! On Monday, October 29th, I will live stream myself doing burpees at 410 CrossFit from my instagram and facebook. I will be doing 1 burpee for every $1 raised. My friend Gary lost his father, Gary Sr, to pancreatic cancer in 2015. On November 3rd we are hosting an event at 410 Crossfit in honor of Gary Sr. and to help research and patients battling the 3rd deadliest cancer in the U.S.
My friend Gayle Pickhardt was planning to speak at our event, however she is unable to make it due to another round of chemo for her own battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
I am doing these burpees in honor of Gary Sr, Gayle, and all the other warriors battling and families members affected by this terrible disease. I'm happy to struggle through these burpees because I know it will never compare to what those affected by pancreatic cancer go through day in and day out.
