Help Lauralee raise money

I have always loved animals. The extent of this love was really tested in the year 2000 when I had a paper route. In the early mornings I would come across many animals needing help. They were abandoned outside apartments or houses where they had previously lived with owners who had moved. I started to feed them. One cat in particular moved me to action. It was a poor older Persian who was wobbly and was thin under his very matted fur. I scooped him up and he laid on my back seat while I finished my route. I later took him to my vet who told me he would need dental work, TLC and a good shave. Having 3 cats of my own, I just couldn't keep him. I cried all the way to the SPCA which was the only place I knew where to take him. I made a donation on his behalf and they promised he would get care and a new home. I vowed then that I would do anything I could in my power to help. So I became a volunteer. I'm raising $$$ to help as many animals as I can. They deserve it!
