Our story…
Grant was born at 2:40 am June 26th, 2006 via emergency c-section. He was in fetal distress. The combination of his Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and fetal distress was not sustainable for his little body. At 9:45pm that evening, our little Grant went to heaven. One of our nurses, fittingly named Grace, kept insisting that we had NILMDTS come and take photos of Grant. We were completly overwhelmed and kept telling her no, it was ok, we brought our own camera. Finally we agreed. We are forever greatful for the beautiful images of Grant, Derek and I. They have played a crucial part in our healing process.
