2018 will be the fifth year for Team Melissa!!! I appreciate all of my friends and family that have joined me year after year in helping me raise awareness and funds for this important cause that does not receive nearly enough attention as it should. My melanoma diagnosis at age 27 has been life changing to not only me but my family and friends, as well. In under 5 years, I have taken on nearly 10 surgeries, more biopsies than I can count, 12 months of a brutal immunotherapy drug, a lifetime pain of lymphedema caused by a lymph node dissection, and knowing there is not yet a cure for Melanoma. However, I am beating the odds of having a recurrence and have been NED (No Evidence of Disease) for nearly 5 years!! Please join me on Sept. 16! 100% of funds are donated to our local hospitals!
