Little Warriors

Little Warriors is a national, charitable organization committed to the awareness, prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. The Little Warriors Be Brave Ranch is a long-term treatment centre located just outside of Sherwood Park, Alberta focused solely to help children who have been sexually abused, as well as their families. Throughout the year-long program, children participate in several multimodal therapy techniques. Children, along with staff and therapists, participate in daily yoga each morning to start their day. This leaves them feeling grounded and focused for their day. This is helpful for them within individual, group, and family therapy sessions and supports mindful self-regulation, which encourages healthy eating, sleeping, and interaction with others.
