Help us raise money

Thank you for your interest in helping us raise money for the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy at the 3rd Annual LIC Post Waterfront 5K. Here is a message from their board:

"At the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy, we've planned a full summer of activities this year from our LIC Henge Party on May 28 to yoga three times a week beginning in June (with Lululemon joining us on Saturday mornings). We will also screen free outdoor movies on the waterfront throughout the summer, and beginning in mid-July, we will host six weeks of 'Summer Kids' programming which in the past included magic shows, live animals and more. The Conservancy is also working closely with community partners to bring dance and music festivals to the waterfront.

Additionally, we will be gardening every other Saturday morning and coordinating special cleanups and beautification events with corporate groups throughout the summer. The Conservancy will also continue to try and provide additional funding to both Gantry Plaza State and Hunters Point South Park to supplement maintenance and upkeep whereever needed.

We appreciate any participation in this event, and ask if you could help support these programs and more by making a pledge in this year's 5K."
