My Story…
Hello! As you may know or have heard, I run and lately I’ve been running a LOT – about 21 runs year to date. I have about 13 to go – including a Tough Mudder Full on October 7th…BUT before that day, I am doing my one fundraising run this year on October 6th . The Break a Sweat for Education will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Mount Diablo Unified School District Education Foundation funding TITLE 1 schools. These schools would be receiving essentials to promote literacy and STEAM resources for children. I currently serve as the Board Secretary for Yours Humanly and believe in their cause – funding local and global efforts to provide underprivileged children in underserved communities access to educational programs and resources.
Last year I was able to meet and exceed my goal of $420. This year, I’m stretching for $1,420.
