Help Laura raise money

You might not know it to see me, but I actually suffer from two rare diseases. One of them is Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, a condition that affect my sympathetic nervous system as a result of a bus accident when I was 10. It means that every day, I wake up in pain - a pain that feels like when you stick your warm hand in the snow. I don't let this stop me - I go on my day making the most of it, usually smiling to hide the discomfort. The other is McCune Albright Syndrome - a condition that affects my adrenal system. It's the reason my "clumsiness" as a kid left me in casts, and I was a frequent flyer in the Ortho clinic at CHEO. Recently, a good friend of mine's mom was diagnosed with a rare disease which reminded me of how important it is to keep the topic on the forefront. Above all else, I'm just a gal trying to make it in the world, despite the obstacles and challenges. Together, we can make a difference, because #rarematters
