I'm walking in support of my sister, Melinda, that was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer shortly after her 50th birthday. Three surgeries, radiation to her brain and multiple rounds of chemo later, Melinda continues to live her life to the fullest, inspiring all of us with her strength and positive spirit! The important work that Organic Soup Kitchen does truly helps so many like her that are fighting cancer each day. I wish they had an organization like Organic Soup Kitchen in Colorado where she lives. I'm proud to walk strong with Melinda and other friends and family to show our support for their 1st annual 5K Walk Strong and can think of no better way to celebrate my 50th birthday that day!
