1Million Project Foundation
To help those in need of WiFi devices this holiday season, please consider contributing to Sprint’s 1Million Project.
The 1Million Project Foundation will help 1 million high school students who do not have reliable internet access at home to reach their full potential by giving them mobile devices and free high-speed internet access. Sprint has committed to provide more than $1.5 billion worth of high-speed mobile network access.
More than 5 million families with school-aged students do not have internet connectivity at home, which creates an obstacle to opportunity. Sprint’s hope is that by providing reliable home internet connectivity, the program can help improve students’ homework completion rates; school attendance; and graduation rates - each of which are important habits and accomplishments that lead directly to success in school and life.
