Raise money for Steel Horse Foundation for #sophiastrong
The Steel Horse Foundation was created in honor of Gary "O" to provide community related fundraising opportunities for those in need. For this event all proceeds will go to #sophiastrong
22 veterans and active military commit suicide every day. On December 2, 2015 native resident Daniel Desmond lost his wife Spc. Katie Desmond. September 1st would be her birthday, so join us as we walk 22K to raise awareness to this epidemic letting all past and present military know IGY6!
Walk starts promptly at 8am at Wooster’s Grove and finishes at the same with Family BBQ (walkers eat free)
$22 Registration fee (pledges are welcome and encouraged)
Whether you walk or not, join us ....
12pm - 4pm Public Family BBQ (suggested donation at entrance) with Tricky Tray
All proceeds will be given to Little Sophia through The Steel Horse Foundation (Nonprofit). Sophia is a young Granddaughter to both Air Force and Navy veterans and she is battling brain cancer #Sophiastrong
