Buffalo Hump was a famous Comanche Chief near the San Antonio Area, and the namesake for this here race of ours. We think all you other runners out there can agree that perseverance is a big part of running and it can not be denied that he and his people had it in spades. So please come and join us at Comanche Park for this crazy race as a fun nod to the Native American history sprinkled all around our crazy town.
We will be running on the now Famous Salado Creek Greenway on the South of Town. As an extra perk, there are tons of shady trees along the path!
5k, 5 mile or 10 miler, it's your choice! We also have a NEWLY ADDED, 2 PERSON RELAY, where each person will do 5 miles. There are several team options including:
1. Open (determined by age)
2. Mixed (1 guy, 1 gal)
3. Both Men
4. Both Women
5. Masters Men
6. Masters Women
Age groups are in 10 year increments. If you and your relay buddy are not in the same age group, this is what will place you in the "Open" team option.
NOTE ABOUT DISCOUNT CODES: If you are 16 or younger, or 70 and over you get an automatic 50% discount. Do not use an additional discount code. You will be disqualified if you combine an additional discount code.
If we get more sign ups we will expand this to Senior Masters and beyond.
Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each division.
