Lincoln Park Zoo Run for the Zoo
June 2nd, 2019
As one of the oldest short-distance races in Chicago, the 41st Annual Run for the Zoo USATF Certified course will again take place largely on and around the beautiful grounds of Lincoln Park Zoo. The 2019 Run for the Zoo course will take racers on a journey winding past winged creatures, gallop alongside gazelles, and race next to rhinos. After you complete the race, join all participants for a post-race celebration on the zoo’s Main Mall.
The race attracts nearly 6,000 participants annually and often sells out before race day. Enjoy this unique opportunity to register in advance for the 41st annual Run for the Zoo.

Volunteers Needed - Click Here to Register!
We need more than 250 volunteers ages 14 and older to make this event successful! Volunteer positions include Packet Pick-Up, Finish Line, Course, Water Stations, and more. Volunteers will receive a special Lincoln Park Zoo shirt. This is a great opportunity for individuals or volunteer groups!
