My Story…
I have chosen once again to participate in the Akron Children's race series and am fundraising as a children's champion. Akron children's holds a special place in mine and my families heart and this is one small way I give back to the Hospital that saved my sons life. My son Grayson had open heart surgery when he was seven days old at Akron Children's to repair his CHD's. My family spent many weeks in the NICU/PICU and were just overwhelmed with the support and care from everyone one at Akron Children's. We will be forever grateful.

It brings the entire family together for the emotional support and understanding across multiple locations to reach families in the communities where they live.
