Be a part of the anticipation and excitement before the big race! Athletes pick up event information, race bib numbers and merchandise at Packet Pick-Up. Help ready this large event for participants by passing out t-shirts and race information or assisting in greeting people or providing directional assistance throughout the exhibit hall.
Are you enthusiastic and can communicate well with others? Then be a Course RockStar! Course RockStars play a vital role supporting the participants and directing them on the route. We’ll even provide you with a “cheer sign” at your station. Join the effort and register to volunteer for your neighborhood Course RockStar team today! Sign up individually or with a buddy! You will be assigned a specific spot on the course and will not be needed the entire 6:30 -10:45 am window. It will be more of a 2 hour commitment within that timeframe.
Be the first to see the many walkers and runners as they come across the finish line. Be a part of the finish celebration! As they finish, we need your help to guide them through the finish line handing out medals, bottled water and post-race food.
Be there to assist participants with this premium service, where they can pick up their race packet, t-shirt and goodies on race morning.
Assist participants as they “Check” their belongings while they participate. Gear Check allows participants to bring personal items with them to have after they participate in one of the events.
Help our littlest athletes get lined up, keep them safe on their short course and get them reunited with their parents. Volunteers are needed from 9:15 -10:45 am, Saturday August 17th.
Our Bike Team leads the pack with our lead runners as well as ride along the course insuring all runners stay on course and safe! You must own your own bike, know the course, and have the ability to ride 13.1 miles.
Are you a natural born cheerleader? Our back of the pack encourages runners as they maintain the 16 minute mile pace to become an official finisher. You must be able to walk/run the 13.1 mile course at a pace of 16 minute mile.
