My Story…
I have supported the Learning Buddies for years and recently attended their Synergy Fundraiser. The work the Learning Buddies are doing to support literacy and numeracy for at risk kids in the community serves an important need. I have learned that sometimes all these kids need is a session or two of free tutoring to keep up. Their youth volunteer also have an experience that fosters leadership and a contribution to their community.
I am running in the Scotiabank Challenge to support this cause and raise money for their Fall 2019 Programs. Please join me with a donation to this worthwhile cause! - James Ho

Your donation allows the Learning Buddies Network to build self-esteem and inspire a love of learning by providing free one to one tutoring and mentoring programs in reading and math for academically and socially fragile children in the Lower Mainland. And through a team of youth volunteers Learning Buddies can serve children in 8 elementary schools who would not otherwise receive the academic support they need.
