Help Jianna raise money

I care about the kids of Dixon because I think all kids deserve to feel supported, cared for, and free to just be kids. I think that's even more true for kids fleeing violence. Every now and then, I get to meet kids staying at Dixon. Like many kids, they ask lots of questions, enjoy playing with other kids, and make messes. Like it would be for many kids, it's upsetting for them to see mom get hurt and not be able to do anything about it. It's hard to leave behind belongings, start at a new school, and move to an unfamiliar place. It is SO valuable to have someone at Dixon who acts as a stable figure for those kids, in addition to Mom. It's also just kind of common sense to make sure that kids have a chance to have fun while they're at Dixon. The child support program makes sure that's a reality. Although the funding is being eliminated for the program, Dixon sees it as non-negotiable to meet the needs of children fleeing violence. So do I, and I hope you do too. -
