Raise money for Greater Vancouver Community Services Society
Greater Vancouver Community Services Society (GVCSS) is a non-profit society delivering community care services to the elderly, people with disabilities, and others who require support to retain or regain health and independence. In operation since 1972, we serve more than 4000 home support clients, operate six Community Living homes for adults with developmental disabilities, and hold three supportive housing contracts. We are currently fundraising for a new van for our East Vancouver Community Living home, and new floors and windows at our North Vancouver homes.
As a non-profit service provider, we strive for ways to add value and excellence to our programs beyond our funded capacity, ultimately improving the lives and experiences of the people we serve, some of the community’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged members. We are currently raising funds to purchase a new van for the residents at our Community Living home for people with developmental disabilities in East Vancouver, and to complete repairs at two of our North Vancouver-based homes.
