I am one of the founding board members of the Learning Buddies Network since 2008. Your donation to my Half-Marathon participation in this Scotiabank Charity Challenge on June 23, 2019 will help us to continue our work inspiring the love of learning, one child at a time. - Alice Ho, Learning Buddies Network Board Member & Fundraising Chair.
Description
Your donation allows the Learning Buddies Network to build self-esteem and inspire a love of learning by providing free one to one tutoring and mentoring programs in reading and math for academically and socially fragile children in the Lower Mainland. And through a team of youth volunteers Learning Buddies can serve children in 8 elementary schools who would not otherwise receive the academic support they need.
