My Story…
My family and I have been proud supporters of the Learning Buddies for several years. We know how impactful their reading and math programs are for the kids they serve. Building self-esteem in children and providing children who need it with some free tutoring is a great contribution to the community.
I will be running in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge on June 23, 2019 and hope you will join me in the run or support me with a donation. - John Lee
Description
Your donation allows the Learning Buddies Network to build self-esteem and inspire a love of learning by providing free one to one tutoring and mentoring programs in reading and math for academically and socially fragile children in the Lower Mainland. And through a team of youth volunteers Learning Buddies can serve children in 8 elementary schools who would not otherwise receive the academic support they need.
