My Story…
I've been involved with WAVAW since 2013, and a Board Director since 2017. I'm honoured to be able to contribute to the the amazing work that WAVAW does every day.
• $25 provides one hour of Crisis Line Support
Keep the lines of our 24-hour Crisis Line open, ensuring that victims can immediately connect with someone who will listen, 365 days a year.
• $50 provides a survivor with one hour of one-to-one counselling
WAVAW’s wait list for survivors seeking free-of-charge counselling is over 2 years. Your gift will help shorten this wait list
• $125 connects a survivor to our hospital accompaniment program
Ensuring a survivor has transportation, support and advocacy while seeking medical attention following a sexual assault

With over 35 years of experience, we are British Columbia’s largest rape crisis centre, operating on unceded Coast Salish Territories. Survivors of sexualized violence are at the centre of everything we do. No matter where you are coming from, we are here for you. Run with WAVAW to ensure that survivors of sexualized violence can access the support they need, when they need it!
