My Story…
This is my seventh year with the Vancouver Crisis Centre. Over the years, I transitioned between different roles within this wonderful non-profit organization - as a front-line volunteer, to training support staff, and now distress services room support - to provide 24/7 consistent and quality service to our local community.
The beautiful humans that volunteer and work here have given me more than I could ever hope to contribute to the community that it serves. Running the half-marathon to raise funds to sustain the important work of this centre is one of my ways of giving back.
