My Story…
WAVAW Rape Crisis Centre is an organization that I care deeply about. BC’s largest rape crisis centre, WAVAW supports survivors of sexualized violence and works to build a world where people of all genders live free of violence.
As you may know, I am on the board of directors of this incredible organization. This year, I'm participating in the Charity Challenge at the Scotiabank Vancouver Half Marathon and 5k, raising critical funds to support WAVAW and the survivors they serve. I am taking action to support survivors, and hope that I can count on your support.
Supporting survivors is a shared responsibility. Ever dollar you donate to WAVAW goes directly towards connecting survivors with the services they deserve following a sexual assault.

With over 35 years of experience, we are British Columbia’s largest rape crisis centre, operating on unceded Coast Salish Territories. Survivors of sexualized violence are at the centre of everything we do. No matter where you are coming from, we are here for you. Run with WAVAW to ensure that survivors of sexualized violence can access the support they need, when they need it!
