My Story…
Those who know me will know I'm not much of a runner (in fact, I'm not a runner at all), but I've joined Team WISH to support this fantastic organization alongside my wife, who serves on their Board. Please help me reach my goal to raise funds for WISH and support their valuable services in Vancouver.
Description
WISH Drop-In Centre Society puts its mission, values, and core principles into action by providing services, supports and opportunities to women engaged in Vancouver’s street based sex industry. WISH offers a safe haven for sex-working women: a place to take a break, connect with colleagues and friends, get a bite to eat or access other, more specific kinds of support – in a safe, respectful, accepting environment. As a deeply respected member of the DTES community, WISH offers programs to serve immediate needs, while engaging in the ongoing advocacy required to shift societal prejudices that continue to put women at risk.
