My Story…
Hi everyone! On June 23rd I will be running as part of the Cops and Runners Team around Stanley Park to raise money for the West End Coal Harbour Community Policing Centre. I have a target of €100 and I am excited to help support the charity and the people that have helped me settle into life in Canada 🇨🇦 thank you so much in advance! Rachel xx
Description
Community Policing comes from a different mindset than conventional policing. It is rooted in a desire for localized crime prevention methods rather than in a dependence on traditional crime control methods. With the support of the Vancouver Police Department, we involve regular community members to help with solving real problems and to enrich the community. Be part of the solution! Show your support for us by donating or participating. Train with your fellow participants, receive a team shirt to wear on race day, and attend a thank you BBQ when you join the WECHCPC ‘Cops and Runners’ team!
