Help Mihaela raise money

Dear Friends A couple of months ago, I decided to join Nicola Wealth on a 100km bike ride Tour of Victoria, raising money for Opportunity International Canada. Until about 6 weeks ago, I didn’t even own a road bike or know how to use “bike shoe clips”. Since then, I’ve been training a couple of times a week, joined an excellent “introduction to biking” class, and I should also mention that learning how to use my “new favorite shoes – the clips” was quite a painful experience. As most of you know, I am originally from Romania, and, Yes, Romania is one of the 21 countries Opportunity International provides help to micro-entrepreneurs. Over 20% of the nation lives below the poverty level. I left Romania a long time ago and built my life in Canada - cycling 100 km in August with friends from work is one way for me “to give back” and help entrepreneurs in Romania and other countries that are struggling to build their own lives. Please help me change lives.
