My brother, Jeff, passed away in March 2019 at the age of 27 from a rare form of cancer (Desmoplastic small round cell sarcoma). From a young age, Jeff had an affinity for the word 'Legacy.' I never really thought much of this, until his passing. To no one's surprise, Jeff left an incredible legacy in his life. He taught (and continues to teach me) that small efforts can make a big difference and that life is all about the attitude you take on each day. It's the decisions and actions we take each day that help define the legacy we leave. I'm running to continue Jeff's legacy and support all of the other important people in my life (and beyond) who have been affected by cancer.
