Help us raise money

The money our team raises is earmarked for a special pilot project we’re working on with local first responders (police and firefighters). It may surprise you to know that not all first responders have ready access to translators when they are in the field. Police officers making traffic stops aren’t always able to communicate clearly with those they stop, and in crisis situations this can be disastrous. Imagine a domestic violence situation where a victim is unable to communicate with a first responder. United Resource Connection has partnered with Catholic Charities of Southwest Ohio to provide the Golf Manor Police Department (GMPD) with the ability to have a translator on speaker phone whenever they make a traffic stop or respond to a crisis call. With the project’s success we plan to expand to the municipalities covered by the Little Miami Fire District, then throughout the rest of Hamilton County. Please support us!
