Help Alisa raise money

For participating in WATERLOO REGION CROSSING 2019

My Story…

I have decided to do the Pioneer (3 hour) Waterloo Region Crossing out a desire to help connect the dots between global climate change, land use and homelessness. I know this is wildly ambitious goal AND with an urban planning background, I see the interconnections between these issues. People are homeless because we aren’t using the land in ways that provide adequate affordable housing and economic opportunities. The climate is changing largely because our land-use choices perpetuate burning fossil fuels. In my ideal world, people would join forces to work together and get at the root causes of *all* these issues. While this may be a while in coming, I am excited about how this trek supports the Working Centre, because it is already working towards dealing with the root causes of homelessness. If you can, I would also appreciate a donation, of any amount, towards helping the Working Centre deal with homelessness. More info: https://www.waterlooregioncrossing.com
