Our story…
On Sunday Sept 22nd I will be participating in the Edmonton Heartbeat Run in support of my granddaughter Bret. For those of you who don’t know, she was born with a congenital heart defect. So at a very young age had to have heart surgery. If you are in a position to do so, please consider donating through the link below.
I want to say thank you to the Stollery Children's Hospital/Mazankowski Heart Institute for giving my little rock-star and her family the best care possible. Which has allowed us to spend the past 8 1/2 years enjoyng this sweet girl... with many more to come ❤ #BretsBeatsNorth ❤
The Edmonton Heartbeat Run is proud to support the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute. Through the University Hospital Foundation, funds raised will help to ensure that patients from all over western Canada continue to benefit from the best talent, resources and passion to address all aspects of heart disease - from prevention to treatment and recovery
