Raise money for Britannia Woods Community House
The Britannia Woods Community House opened in 1976 with the purpose of ensuring the families living in the Britannia Woods community had access to social, educational and recreational supports. Over the last 40 years, the Community House has been offering a wide range of programs and services that aim to improve the quality of life for multicultural families and households living on a fixed or low income.
Britannia Woods programs and services are delivered in a community-led, holistic approach. The Community House works with the whole family unit; from preschool to school-aged to youth to adults. Community engagement is the key to success!
The Britannia Woods community has a large population of children and youth (approximately 64% of residents are under the age of 20). The Community House staff strive to provide children and youth a nurturing and fun place to play and learn that will encourage their healthy development.
