Hart for Hearts

Hart for Hearts was formed in 2015 by Ben and Charlotte Hart after their son Hugo was born with a rare congenital heart defect. Hart for Hearts raises awareness and supports Cayman families through premature and full-term births of sick children in the neo-natal unit and beyond by providing financial support for families, raising awareness in the community, celebrating unsung heroes such as our nurses and providing other resources and tools as needed.  In an effort to highlight these problems, as well as raise funds to assist families, Hart for Hearts was founded, which is now the pediatric arm of the Cayman Heart Fund.

A group of runners from law firm Walkers have been on a mission to raise funds for Hart for Hearts. Teams Walkers Running 1 and Walkers Running 2 have collectively raised CI$4,070 and half marathoner Ashley Gunning has raised CI$6,231. If he beats his target which is to run the half-marathon in 2:05.39 he will gain an additional CI$4,880.
