Our story…
On November 9th, 2018 my daughter decided to make her arrival a couple days early. From what was supposed to be the most magical, exciting time of our lives... shortly turned into one of the biggest nightmare, most frightening scare of our lives. My daughter turned purple 3 times in my hands before she got rushed to the NICU. Days later we were given horrible news that she had caught meningitis. When? Why? How did this happen? A million questions went through our minds. Still to this day we do not know how she caught this HORRIBLE infection. After a long 28 extra days in the hospital... many tests, antibiotics, and tears we were finally able to bring our beautiful baby girl home. We are so fortunate to have been able to stay at the RMH Windsor. It truly is a “home away from home”. Our Princess Paisley is now doing amazing all thanks to the NICU nurses, and many many follow up appointments. Please help me reach my goal in giving back to house.
