If you’re reading this, and you know me, you know I’m about to shamelessly ask you to open your wallets to help me make a difference in these furry critters’ lives. My love for animals began at a young age. I tried to bring EVERYTHING home to look after it. It was only a few years ago that I was introduced to the world of rescue, which is run off the blood, sweat and tears of dedicated volunteers...literally. To the folks in Sudbury and in Vaughan: you know who you are and I salute you for the love, dedication and support you provide to be the bridge between an animal’s old life and it’s new life free from fear, pain, neglect of heartbreak. Friends, rescue is expensive. We rely on volunteers’s time, dedicated veterinarians, and donations to provide medical care, love and rehabilitation so these animals can have another shot.
