Cristian was diagnosed with giant omphalocele, which is a fatal birth defect that randomly impacts 1 in every 10,000 pregnancies. Following this diagnosis, we learned that if Cristian made it to full term and survived delivery, he would only live for a few minutes. On April 12th, at 35 weeks pregnant, sweet baby Cristian made his way into this world via c-section and lived for a couple of minutes before going to his home in Heaven. We are so grateful for the time we had with him and the pictures we received from NILMDTS.
