My Story…
Participating for the 3rd year at the Chicago Miles for Migraine event in honor of my late sister, Melissa. Melissa died by suicide in 2013 after struggling with chronic Migraine for many years. This disease completely altered her life course, and turned a bright, energetic woman into someone who was unable to leave her room or live a normal life.
We walk in honor of her, and to carry her story forward. We hope that our presence will remind others that they are not alone, and that we can provide hope for those who are struggling.
