There are so many benefits to participating on a school debate team! They include gaining confidence, learning how to communicate ideas clearly, improving critical thinking skills and so much more! The Debate Programs at both Decatur High and Renfroe Middle School are growing! Our goal is to give ALL interested students a chance to participate in debate tournaments BUT we have limited funding and transportation and tournament fees can add up! Can you help us bring debate to more students by sponsoring our participation in the Tour deCatur 5K with a tax-deductible gift? Any amount helps us move closer to our goal. Every dollar raised is split 50/50 between the team and DEF which tackles some of the big challenges facing our kids today.
