Packet Pickup: (race bib number, t-shirt, info) Friday, October 25th, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm hosted by the Renaissance Arts Marriot Hotel, 700 Tchoupitoulas Street (in the main ballroom). Packet pickup also available on day of race opening at 5:30am (just two blocks from race site) closes when race starts (7:00 am) *Please bring your confirmation e-mail. NOTE - Suggest to consider foregoing pickup at packet pickup opening time ( 11:00 am ) to avoid lines.. wait about 1-1/2 hour for little to no lines.. !! After you pickup your race bib number please remember to pickup your official t-shirt and visit with our vendors and area run /walk event displays booths.
Chip Timed Race ( Half, Relay, 5K ): Please wear your bib number on FRONT only and visible at all times. If picking up bib for others, please cross check the name written on back of bib to make certain to distribute correct bib to person assigned to..!! Results will denote both Gun time and net chip time. Awards are based on gun time. Split times shown in results for 10K, 10 Mile and the relay exchange point for those in the Half-Marathon relay division.

Jazz Half-Marathon: 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall , 1st masters, 1st grand masters, 1st senior. Age groups (1st place) ages 19-under, 20-29, 30-39 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80- over
Two-Person Relay: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place team in divisions Male, Female, Mixed
Results posted/streaming on Jazzhalf.com as you finish the race. Check via your cell phone, tablet, etc.

Details:Two-Person Relay Division
Team Member # 1:
Start to Relay hand off point on St. Charles Avenue, at Calhoun Street (7.0 Mile mark)
Lead Runner will start Half Marathon in Lafayette Square at the start of the race.
Team Member # 2:
Relay hand off point to Finish Line (6.1 Miles)
Anchor Runner will be bused to Calhoun Street (7.0 Mile mark) to await team member’s arrival.
Male, Female, Co-Ed (1 male, 1 female)
2-Person Team Relay Awards:
1st, 2nd, 3rd Place team in each division
1st Place Overall (Male Team, Female Team, Co-Ed Team)
2nd Place Overall (Male Team, Female Team, Co-Ed Team)
3rd Place Overall (Male Team, Female Team, Co-Ed Team)

The anchor runner on each team will receive two (2) medallions, one for each team member upon finishing.
Keeping Track of timing:
Relay teams will share the same Bib number. Runner #1 time with be added with Runner #2 time to determine their final 13.1 marathon time.
Bus transportation provided for official Jazz Half relay team members. ( FREE )
Bus transportation details - IMPORTANT
Runner # 2 board yellow school bus on St. Charles Avenue ( buses on site @ 6:15 am ) at Lafayette Square. Buses depart for the on course relay point at 6:45 am ( * Please be on time - and on the bus )
Runner # 1 will be bused back from the on course relay exchange point located on St. Charles Avenue at Calhoun Street ( Mile 7 location)

and the Northshore Half ( Sunday, October 27th ) * the Northshore event

Earn a custom " Shore Thing " Series medallion for completing the series. Medallions will be distributed at the Northshore Half-Marathon post race , look for NOLArunning.com canopy tent on site.

Half Marathon Turn-by-turn: Start: On Camp Street at N. Maestri, continue to Poydras Street, turn left on Poydras to O'Keefe Street, turn right on O'Keefe to Common Street, turn left on Common Street to S. Rampart Street , right on S. Rampart, continue to N. Rampart to Turn around point on N. Rampart at Barracks Street Continue on N. Rampart to Poydras Street. Turn left on Poydras to St. Charles Avenue.
Continue on St. Charles Avenue to Audubon Park. , Enter Audubon Park and continue around park loop jogging pathway between St. Charles Avenue and Magazine Street.
Exit Audubon Park onto St. Charles Avenue and continue in downtown direction on St. Charles Avenue.
Turn right from St. Charles onto Andrew Higgins Street., Turn left onto Camp Street, continue on Camp to Finish line at intersection with S. Maestri. ( HOORAH your DONE
Aid Stations: See Water symbols on course map, 9 aid stations on course. Kentwood Springs Water, Powerade , port-o-lets placed nearby each station.
Course elevation: WHAT ? There are no hills in New Orleans . We measured the highest " bump" on the course and it's 5-1/2 inches which gives you both a 5-1/2 inch uphill and same downhill- WOW start your hill training Oct 26th
Time Limit: Four ( 4 ) hour time limit for Half-Marathon course. Rolling course time frame closures. After that you may be on the sidewalk as the course is closed. At the finish line as long as you are making an attempt we will wait for you... You deserve that finisher medallion go for it
