My Story…
Our family will run, walk, kid-dash, and sweat (a lot) at the Shopping Cart Shuffle 5K THIS SATURDAY at Mallard Lake Forest Preserve. Join our team, "Easier Said Than Run," and/or make a donation to support us! Last year we were the top fundraising team. Can you help us defend our title? For this year's event I've traded in the carrot uniform for the chili pepper. Thanks! Every $25 we raise will provide 443 meals for our neighbors who visit Neighborhood Food Pantries' six locations a total of more than 26,000 times every year!

Did you know that there are 65,500 hungry people in DuPage County? That half of those people are children? Please join our team or make a donation to help Run Hunger Out of Town:
• $5 will feed a family of 4 for a whole week
• $20 feeds a family for a month
• $50 provides more than 1,000 lbs of food for our neighbors in need
• $100 provides 2,600 meals for local families
• $250 feeds a family for an entire year
