Almost 4 years ago, we adopted Jerry from Coco's heart and it was one of the best decisions we have made as a family. Jerry has been the light of our lives and has shown us what love really is. Last year my health was unstable after a surgery went bad and required further surgeries. There were days that it felt nearly impossible to imagine moving forward, but Jer was there for me, showing me that I could do it. He stayed by my side for months and made my long recovery much more bearable. Dogs are such a unique species. They have something that is lacking of the human condition: truly, unconditional love.
