Team Bear's Superfans is excited to be participating in A Walk for the Bear for the 5th year! This is a cause near and dear to our hearts and we hope you will join us in supporting Bear Necessities, an organization dedicated to eliminating pediatric cancer and providing hope and support to those who are touched by it. Bear Necessities is named in memory of Barrett “Bear” Krupa, who died at age eight, after a courageous five-and-a-half-year battle with Wilms Tumor, a pediatric cancer. Bear and his mom, Kathleen, discussed the formation of Bear Necessities during his long stays in the hospital as Bear expressed more concern for other pediatric cancer patients than he did for himself. We walk in memory of Bear, and all of the other brave children who have lost their lives to this disease and in honor of all the kid’s who are still fighting their fight. We hope you will join us the day of the walk or donate to our team to support pediatric cancer research!
