Paws in the Park Walk & Pet Fest 2019
Welcome to the 19th annual Paws in the Park Walk & Pet Fest!
This year at Paws in the Park, we celebrate a very special theme - 50 Years of Second Chances - as 2019 marks Helping Paws' 50th year as the first no-kill shelter in McHenry County. Those 50 years represent the thousands of lives saved and families made whole through the adoption of dogs and cats from Helping Paws. What an excellent reason to celebrate!
This year's Paws in the Park will feature games and contests for dogs and their humans; a myriad of vendors; excellent food; an artist creating FREE caricatures; a police K-9 unit demonstration; many valuable raffle baskets and more! Those able to do the leisurely, one mile trek around Emricson Park will have the opportunity to create camaraderie and make friends on the pack walk. And, as always, Helping Paws will be showcasing available dogs in a dog parade through the pet fest.
Helping Paws alumni that stop by the "Pawspitality Booth" and sign the guest book have an opportunity to connect with litter mates, canine moms and/or human foster parents. And, we'll have one of the photographers capture the moment! In fact, we'll document this great event with both an alumni group picture, and a picture of all attendees available.
Thank you for joining the celebration!
