My Story…
On August 17, Chad will be participating in the 2019 Virtual ICP Run by committing to the Marquette Trail 50 Ultramarathon (50 mile run) in honor of our angel boys, Liam and Noah, and our rainbow, Landon. Our goal is to bring awareness to Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP) and raise money for the organization that gave us so much support and continues to bring support and education to families who experience ICP. ICP is a rare pregnancy-related disease where the main symptom can be dismissed as harmless itching, but have devastating results. Our angel babies have already saved lives by giving us the courage to spread the word and make sure that other families do not have to suffer through the loss of a child. With treatment and early delivery, all babies born to mothers with ICP can lead healthy and happy lives. The only hurdle is awareness and our goal is to do our part in making sure their story is heard.
