Father's Day 5k-10k & Fun Run
The Father's Day 5k was created by a group of like-minded individuals, dedicated to raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in an effort to fund research and find a cure to END blood cancers. Our event is a true family affair and offers something for all ages. This year marks the 8th year for this event and we are excited to announce the new 10k course offering with this year's event. The Father's Day 5k and this year's new addition of the 10k- is a family-friendly event that includes a race distance for all ages: the Kids Run for those under 9 (or not quite ready for the 3.1), and the Diaper Dash (a free event) for kids 3 and under. After the race, we celebrate with a pancake breakfast, local vendors, music, and other fun family activities to get your Father's Day started off on the right foot! The event also includes:
- Finishers Medals
- Chip timing by Fit2Time (the Race Management division of local running retailer Fit2Run)
- T-shirts for the First 250 Registered
- FREE Diaper Dash event
- Kids Activities
- 1st place male / female awards
- Masters male/female awards
- Top 3 age group category male / female awards
- Pancake breakfast at the finish
