REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK UP QUESTIONS
How do I register?
You may register either online, in person at any of the packet pick up locations, or on race day.
What is the easiest way to register?
Registering online is the easiest way to sign up
Can I register at a packet pick up location?
Yes
Can I pick up a packet for a friend of family member?
Yes
Are credit cards accepted at packet pick ups?
Yes

If I am a Lazy Turkey (Spirit Runner), will shirts be mailed?
We will not mail shirts, you must still pick up your shirt at the advanced packet pick ups.
Can Lazy Turkey's (Spirit Runners) participate in the race?
No, Lazy Turkey participants are spirit runners ONLY. Only those registered to run are allowed to participate.
Am I guaranteed a race shirt?
All pre registered participants signed up at least 1 WEEK IN ADVANCE are guaranteed the race shirt size they requested during the registration process. Late sign ups are not guaranteed the shirt size of their choice, shirts will be given on a first come first serve basis. We will do our best to get everyone the shirt size they want
Will I be able to change my shirt size?
We will attempt to accommodate all shirt change requests that we can based on current shirt size availability.
How can I get a race shirt if I do not want to participate?
You may register as a participant to receive a race shirt and goody bag. You do not have to compete if you do not wish to do so. You may pick up your shirt and bag at any of the packet pick up locations.
What will we receive at packet pick up?
You will receive your race shirt, and a race number with timing chip.
What type of timing is being used?
We will be using the Start2Finish State of the art MyLaps timing system. When you receive your race number, your timing tag will be affixed to your bib number. Please do not remove the timing tag from the back of your bib number.

The Turkey Trot will begin on the access road of the Memphis Botanic Gardens, see course map for details.
What if it is raining on race morning?
The race will happen rain or shine
When should I arrive?
You should plan to arrive earlier than normal. If you have not picked up your packet, you should plan to arrive by 7:30am. If you have already picked up your packet, you should plan to arrive no later than 8:00am.
How long will it take to find a place to park?
at least 30 minutes maybe longer, traffic is likely to be congested. Too avoid long lines please arrive early.
Where do I park?
Parking should be plenty at the Botanic Gardens. We will have parking attendants directing you to parking.
Are baby joggers/baby strollers allowed in the race?
Yes, please start towards the end of the pack
Are walkers allowed to participate?
Yes, please start towards the end of the pack
Are runners allowed to run with dogs?
Dogs are NOT allowed at the Turkey Trot
Can we participate as a team?
Yes, teams are allowed to participate as a relay
Where do relays exchange our timing tag?
You will tag your partner at the 2 mile marker. Both members of your team will receive a bib number with timing chip.
How does our relay partner get to the exchange location?
The second leg of the relay team will be responsible for getting to the 2 mile junction. You must walk or jog to this location. We will not have a way of transporting you to the 2 mile junction, please plan accordingly. You may see the "Relay" page on the website for more information.
