ELI'S ALLIES COLOR ME CURED FOR JDRF
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.
This fun 5k event adds the twist of having colored powders thrown at you at each kilometer mark. The event will be untimed. Awards for finishing order are not planned. The event is meant to celebrate our local heroes living with T1D, bring awareness and education to our community, and to promote health, wellness, and fun. The “color” is made from non-toxic colored corn starch.
