There’s no way I could’ve granted my daughter’s wish when all my energy was spent getting her better and keeping as much normalcy as possible. Her wish has been an amazing journey for me. It’s opened my eyes to other Make A Wish families and their stories, which made my journey not so isolating anymore. By brightening up a child’s life with a wish, you also ease a parent’s straining heart and give them something good and positive to lean on so they can continue fighting for their child.
